My Favorite Zombie Movies are:
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968) DAWN OF THE DEAD (1978) NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1990) DAY OF THE DEAD (1985) LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE (1974) DAWN OF THE DEAD (2004) RE-ANIMATOR (1985) BURIAL GROUND (1980) TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD (1971) ZOMBIE (1979) HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD (1980) RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD (1985) RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD 3 (1994) NIGHT OF THE COMET (1984) THE NECRO FILES (1997--Yes, this is the movie I made, LOL)
On a related note, I very much enjoyed the following "biohazard" movies, several of which featured zombie-like behavior (marked with an asterisk):
* CANNIBAL APOCALYPSE (1981) * THE CRAZIES (1973) * I DRINK YOUR BLOOD (1971) * 28 DAYS LATER (2003) OUTBREAK (1995) * WARNING SIGN (1985) PANIC IN THE STREETS (1950)

Cannibal Apocalypse is really sleazy, cheesy, gory stuff. One of Tarantino's favorite films so great minds think alike!
Remember when that guy gets shot through the chest and you can still see the guy shooting him through the hole in his chest? Crazy!
It's like they took a cannibal movie and a zombie movie and put them all together because whoever gets bitten by a cannibal becomes a cannibal! I love that movie. The DVD has killer special features they did a great job. Too bad John Saxon is such a wimp about gore!!!

I haven't seen Bone Sickness, but I did just hear that Unearthed Films is putting it out in a special edition with extra scenes. They are also working on a sequel.
Thanks for plugging Necro Files!

I love Zombie (1979), re-animator, Rotld 1+3 and Day of the dead. I`m not really into other Italian zombie movies even if I like City of the living dead. I´m really more into the american zombie movies. I think Dead next door is pretty cool and if Evil Dead qualifies as a "zombie" movie then we have a winner, cause Evil dead is one of the best horror movies ever made!! And I think that Dawn 04 is one of the best remakes ever made, any film opening with zombie mayhem while Johnny Cash plays in the background should be worshipped

I like Evil Dead as well but chose not to include it. I think part of the problem is I've recently come to look on it as NOT being a zombie movie because it's really a demon possessing the corpse, it's capable of (ir)rational thought and speech, there is no zombie plague in it, and it doesn't adhere to the "rules" of the genre. It's more of a hybrid between The Exorcist and Night of the Living Dead. Still good stuff but not "pure zombie" in the traditional sense.

Dead Men Walking was pretty cool. Have you guys seen that?
Dead Meat was good, too. It's on Fangoria DVD; some kid in Ireland directed it!

Zombieflesheater: Dead Men Walking and Dead Meat were both good, IMO.
2Sick4U: Yeah, the censor finally is getting around to clobbering Misled 7 years later... Methinks they dropped the ball on that one! Why couldn't they have waited 7 years to censor Faces of Gore? LOL! Then I could have gotten a groovy licensing deal with Bad Boy for Part 3 and the Best Of. Oh, well...

7 years is nothing, some years ago Blood Feast!!!! was put on the index(or was even banned? I have to look it up later). That`s just sick, because all the new movies like Hills have eyes by Aja or Hostel are passing without any cuts. Censorship is only for the movie, that don`t make much money!

Censorship is only for the movie, that don`t make much money! That's absolutely correct. If my movies were backed by a major studio, it wouldn't matter how many zombie boners or dead bodies they had in 'em, they'd pass the censor every goddamn time. It seems that freedom of speech is only available to the highest bidder--not just in America, but Germany, and everywhere!
