Watched Countdown To Doomsday on Sci-Fi Channel last night. They had 10 different end of the world scenarios, but wasted one on "robots" so they could insert massive plugs for their Battlestar Galactica remake series. When I pulled a similar stunt in my film FACES OF GORE to promote THE NECRO FILES, everyone cried foul, LOL. Anyway, the point I wanted to make was they had aliens and robots as possible end of the world scenarios but no zombies!

NO ZOMBIES?
Well, I guess zombies are hard to find a real scientific basis for. I've tried myself. The most realistic Zombie flick was 28 Days later. Not dead - just really feckin' insane.

You should check out George Romero's THE CRAZIES if you liked the "insane" zombies of 28 DAYS LATER. It's basically a more "realistic" version of his earlier classic, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. THE CRAZIES depicts a small PA town getting accidentally dosed with a US bio-weapon in their water supply. It makes 'em go berserk and start doing all kinds of crazy things (like murder, etc.). My favorite scene has a horde of homicidal lunatics with guns, clubs and knives charging National Guard troops in biohazard gear, overrunning their position... behind the insane mob is a lone crazy lady sweeping up the battlefield with a broom! Gotta keep the grass tidy, lol.
