Just read over on destroyerclub.com that the former head of Paramount Pictures, Robert Evans, has optioned Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir's long-lived pulp action/adventure series, The Destroyer, for the movies! The only other onscreen adventure for Remo Williams (aka "The Destroyer") and Chiun, his aging mentor in the deadly Korean art of Sinanju, was 1985's REMO WILLIAMS: THE ADVENTURE BEGINS, starring Fred Ward. That was an excellent adaptation, but I'm excited to see something new possibly in the works! I just watched the movie and started reading the books, starting with #3: Chinese Puzzle. They are fantastic and still relevant thirty plus years later!
