My Top 10 favorite Witchcraft/Satanism movies, in order, are: THE OMEN (original 1970s version) DAMIEN: THE OMEN 2 CURSE OF THE DEMON/NIGHT OF THE DEMON ROSEMARY'S BABY THE WITCHFINDER GENERAL/THE CONQUEROR WORM HORROR HOTEL BLACK SUNDAY THE WICKER MAN THE DEVIL RIDES OUT THE DEVILS And other films I like, in no particular order, are: THE EXORCIST EXORCIST 3 RACE WITH THE DEVIL SEASON OF THE WITCH ALUCARDA INQUISITION LITTLE WITCHES THE DEMONS IMAGES IN A CONVENT THE WITCHES VIRGIN WITCH CRY OF THE BANSHEE THE CRAFT BLOOD ON SATAN'S CLAW TO THE DEVIL... A DAUGHTER THE WITCHMAKER HORROR RISES FROM THE TOMB PANIC BEATS SATAN'S CHEERLEADERS LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM And yes, I know that witchcraft (wicca) and satanism are mutually exclusive terms but not so in the movies, LOL. EDIT: Rearranged list into "Top 10" and "Others." Added several films to both lists (thanks, sicko!). Frankly, I find the beginning of The Exorcist so painfully boring I can't justifiably put in my Top 10. Once it gets going, however, is another story. ;D The Top 10 make up movies I am enamored of from start to finish. Wicker Man might get bumped up a few notches if I were to rewatch it again. I think I only ever saw it twice; once on TV in the mid-80s and once on VHS in the mid-90s.

Well, I have to say that it would be Rosemary`s baby. That movie is just perfect. I also like The Omen and The exorcist though. I remember seeing the Devils on television some years ago, that one was pretty hard. And it reminds me: Lair of the white worm is also very good, because of it`s many visual metaphors.

Thanks for joining and pointing those out, sicko! This is why it's so valuable to have members like you. I don't know how I left either The Omen or Lair off of my list, especially when the first two Omen movies are practically my top favorites! Also added Satan's Cheerleaders (a guilty pleasure). I've added them on to my list and split it into two lists, a "Top 10" and an "Other Films I Enjoyed" list. I'm just going to chalk it up to trying to (rush) write at least one post for every category the night I built this community so it wouldn't look so small and lonely...

What about The Brotherhood of Satan? That started off so freaky when that family drove into that redneck town and the locals went crazy and attacked them! It had some cool decapitations and stuff at the end.

That new kid in the Omen remake is ugly and awful; what a pointless remake! It's like remaking Psycho--WHY?! The original Omen kid and Damien 2 were scary you realy believed they were evil but could see how they could fool you into thinking they weren't; this new kid is just sickly and wouldn't fool anyone! He's so dumb and creepy his face screams "I'm evil, kill me!" lol I just remembered who the new Omen kid reminds me of now, Grimer Wormtongue (Brad Dourif) from LOTR: The Two Towers! except he doesn't need make-up to look ugly, lol

It had some cool decapitations and stuff at the end. Brotherhood of Satan was all right, but I can't see anybody except hardcore horror fans sticking through it long enough to enjoy the carnage at the end. It started off good, but quickly bogged down and made no sense until much later in the film. I prefer Race With The Devil as far as redneck Satanist movies go.
