Zombie State: Diplomacy of the Dead is a great new survival horror board game out now (at Amazon or your FLGS). It's basically Pandemic meets Risk. As world leaders each controlling a continent, 2-5 players struggles to mobilize their military and conduct research to save their population from the ever-expanding zombie plague. Not a lot of diplomacy involved, though. Players can work together or screw each other over (and often do both from round to round). A very scary and bleakly brutal game I highly recommend to zombie fans. Check it out. www.amazon.com/Alliance-Games-Distributions-ZOMBIE-STATE/dp/B003K22KJO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1299792570&sr=8-1

Yeah, I liked this game but have a hard time getting anyone to play it because it can be so depressing watching your population get devoured. With zombie plague points being random and recurring throughout the 15 round game, if you get hit in the wrong country (like one with your oil reserves) it can really mess you up because you suddenly have less resource cards to build tanks or research new tech. Definitely lots of hard choices to make between whether to go for military build-up or technology research that may or may not pan out. Mostly the other players try to trick their zombies into moving toward their opponents, away from their continent, so there's no real diplomacy going on. Good game though.
